TERMS OF SERVICE

 1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

 

By accessing or using the KnuStart, LLC website (www.knustart.com) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

 

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

 

KnuStart, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides life coaching services from a Christian perspective, including but not limited to:

- Individual life coaching

- Marriage and relationship coaching

- Pre-marital coaching

- Group coaching sessions

- Recovery coaching

- Mediation services

- Life skills training

- Marriage retreats

- Online consultations and programs

 

 3. NATURE OF COACHING SERVICES

 

**IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:** Our services are coaching services, not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment. Life coaching is not a substitute for professional mental health care, medical treatment, or other professional services. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure any mental health conditions, medical conditions, or psychological disorders.

 

Scope of Practice:

- Coaching focuses on goal-setting, motivation, and personal development

- We work with non-clinical issues and general life challenges

- Clients experiencing clinical depression, anxiety, or other mental health conditions should consult with licensed mental health professionals

- Emergency situations require immediate professional medical or psychiatric care

 

 4. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

 

By using our services, you represent and warrant that:

- You are at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent

- You are using our services voluntarily and of your own free will

- You understand the nature and limitations of coaching services

- You will seek appropriate professional help for clinical or medical issues

- You will be honest and forthcoming in coaching sessions

- You will actively participate in the coaching process

 

 5. PAYMENT TERMS

 

- Payment is due prior to or at the time services are rendered

- Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified

- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of services

- Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice

 

 6. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

 

- Client may cancel scheduled sessions with at least 24 hours notice

- Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be charged the full fee

- No-shows will be charged the full session fee

- Refunds are provided at our sole discretion based on individual circumstances

 

 7. CONFIDENTIALITY

 

We maintain client confidentiality in accordance with professional coaching standards, except where:

- Client provides written consent to disclose information

- Disclosure is required by law or court order

- There is imminent danger of harm to self or others

- Child abuse, elder abuse, or dependent adult abuse is suspected

 

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by client for services

- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages

- We make no warranties regarding outcomes or results from coaching

- Client assumes responsibility for implementing coaching recommendations

 

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

 

- All content, materials, and resources provided are proprietary to KnuStart, LLC

- Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize our materials without written permission

- Clients retain ownership of their personal information and experiences shared in coaching

 

10. TECHNOLOGY AND ONLINE SERVICES

 

- Online sessions may be subject to technical difficulties

- We are not responsible for technology failures or interruptions

- Clients are responsible for ensuring secure internet connections

- Recording of sessions requires mutual consent

 

 11. TERMINATION

 

Either party may terminate the coaching relationship at any time with reasonable notice. Grounds for immediate termination include:

- Violation of these Terms

- Non-payment of fees

- Inappropriate or abusive behavior

- Client needs exceed scope of coaching services

 

12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

 

- Disputes will first be addressed through good faith negotiation

- If unresolved, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration

- Arbitration will be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association

- Virgin lslands aw governs these Terms

 

13. MODIFICATIONS

 

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
